Film
Industry
Working in the Film Industry has taught me exceptional work ethics, what it means to be a good team player, structured organisational skills, extensive research methods, efficient problem solving, and how to successfully lead and manage a department, with respect and fairness.
As a Head of the Department for Costume Design, I did 6 feature films, dozen short films, and uncountable amount of music videos, commercials, and magazine editorials.
The picture that you can see, is one of my most proud and happy moments, taken minutes after we won the Silver Bear for best film – “Death in Sarajevo” directed by Danis Tanovic, 2016 Berlinale.
UX/UI
Design
Throughout my two-decades-long career, I have worked as a Graphic, Motion, UI, and Costume Designer, as well as an Illustrator.
Illustration taught me patience, detail-focused work, and how to dive into infinite creative freedom. Graphic Design has taught me visual structure, consistency, and clear and concise storytelling.
Recently my focus has predominantly shifted to UX/UI Design. The digital product design industry has a broad scope, demands complexity, and offers me compelling creative challenges. The design skills I developed over the years through different design fields are proving to be a great asset in creating digital products. I really enjoy UX research methods, the ideation process, testing, and micro-animations, and I particularly love prototyping which gives me the satisfaction of seeing instantly my design results in action.
